Terms of service

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Jigsaw ("we") about your use of Jigsaw. By using Jigsaw you agree to them.

Your account

You need an email address to use Jigsaw. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your publish tokens private. You must be at least 16.

Apps you publish

You own what you publish. You give us permission to host it, run it and show it to the people you share it with, for as long as it stays on Jigsaw. You are responsible for your app: what it does, the data it collects, and telling the people you share it with how their information is used. You must have the right to publish everything in it.

You are responsible for any keys you paste and for charges from the services those keys belong to.

Apps other people publish

Apps on Jigsaw are made by their owners. We do not review, endorse or guarantee them, and you open them at your own risk. If an app breaks our rules, report it.

Rules

You agree to follow the acceptable use policy. We may suspend an app or an account that breaks it, or that puts Jigsaw or other people at risk.

Limits

Jigsaw sets limits on things like the size of an app and the number of apps per person. We may change these limits.

Availability and changes

Jigsaw is in early access. We may change or stop features, and the service may be unavailable at times. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms. When an account ends, its apps and their data are deleted.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, by card, through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Settings; your plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and we do not refund part of a period unless the law requires it. If a payment fails and is not put right, your account returns to the free plan. Apps that a plan no longer covers stay, with their data, but those with their own server are paused until a plan covers them again. If we change a price, we will tell you before your next payment.

A team is charged for each builder on it. Adding a builder part-way through a month is charged for the rest of that month; removing one is credited. A team's apps belong to the team: they stay when a member leaves, and are deleted if the team is deleted.

No warranty

Jigsaw is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Jigsaw. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute. If you use Jigsaw as a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your own country gives you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you before the change takes effect. Using Jigsaw after that means you accept the new terms.
